Academic Coach

Sylvan Learning of NE Columbia is seeking a Part-Time Academic Coach to deliver educational content to students and build confidence-boosting rapport with them. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching and making a difference in children's lives.

• Deliver educational content to students to ensure mastery of skills
• Build strong relationships with students and their families
• Manage time effectively to meet the needs of multiple students
• Embrace a growth mindset and continuously improve teaching practices
• Provide support and encouragement to students to help them overcome challenges

• Love teaching and working with children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and Saturdays
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or educator certification a plus
