POSITION SUMMARY

The Retail Sales Representative is tasked with engaging customers and fostering a welcoming atmosphere within the store. The representative is accountable for executing operational tasks and safeguarding company assets through outstanding customer service. Additionally, they provide insights on product advantages and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their shopping journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Engagement:

  • Proactively addresses customer inquiries and resolves issues efficiently, managing multiple customers in a fast-paced retail setting.
  • Assists customers in locating products, informs them of ongoing promotions, and checks in regularly to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Facilitates smooth point-of-sale transactions during purchases.
  • Completes restocking and shipment tasks as necessary to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.

Brand Representation:

  • Maintains store visual standards in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Implements replenishment processes, organizes, and cleans the sales floor to meet company expectations.
  • Arranges merchandise displays according to visual merchandising standards and directives.
  • Possesses thorough product knowledge and ensures effective merchandise presentation.
  • Communicates current promotional events and loyalty programs to customers.

Sales Growth:

  • Reduces store losses by delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Upholds cleanliness standards to guarantee a positive shopping experience for customers and team members.
  • Meets or surpasses company productivity benchmarks for all operational tasks.
  • Aims to achieve daily performance goals set by management.

Team Collaboration:

  • Fosters a cooperative working relationship with all team members.
  • Adapts to perform various tasks as requested.
  • Supports management directives and store objectives.
  • Mentors and trains colleagues to achieve success.
  • Complies with all company policies and safety protocols as instructed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven customer engagement abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and colleagues.
  • Experience in retail or specialty apparel is advantageous.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods; climb ladders as needed.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.

AVAILABILITY

  • Must be available to meet business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Any changes in availability must be approved by management based on business requirements.
  • Shifts typically range from 3 to 8 hours in length.
  • Minimum hours are not guaranteed.

Compensation for this role starts at $17.00 per hour, based on experience and location.
