We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot to join our team at Global Medical Response. As a Medical Air Transportation Pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, working closely with a team of medical experts to ensure the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and company requirements.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide shift change information to transitioning pilots and team, following protocols for recording company change board details.
- Accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.
Required to work in outside weather conditions, including deicing the plane, assisting with towing, and maneuvering in and out of the hangar.
Physical Demands- Required to stand, walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
