Bushwick Veterinary Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. We are a progressive small animal general practice and emergency service committed to providing exceptional client communication and customer service.

Our modern facility features digital & digital dental x-ray, an in-house lab suite, a fully integrated online practice management system, and more. We pride ourselves on our Fear Free medical and surgical services, ensuring a comfortable experience for all our patients.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for both clients and their beloved pets.

Responsibilities:
  • Warmly greet clients and patients upon arrival
  • Efficiently check-in and check-out patients
  • Answer phone calls promptly and professionally
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Input patient information into our practice management system
  • Obtain patient history from clients
  • Assist veterinarians with various tasks as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in a veterinary hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and friendly demeanor
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience with 'eVetPractice' software is a plus
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfort handling dogs and cats
