About the Role- We are looking for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist who can assist with minimally invasive procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain accurate records of patient information and procedures performed.
- As an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Magnet Medical, you will work closely with interventional radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and successful procedural outcomes.
- Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare the interventional radiology suite by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning. Review patient information, medical history, and previous imaging studies to ensure correct procedure protocols.
- Assisting During Procedures: Assist the interventional radiologist in performing various minimally invasive procedures, including angiograms, biopsies, catheter placements, stent insertions, and drain placements. Operate imaging equipment to guide the physician during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and administering contrast agents as directed.
- Patient Safety and Comfort: Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure, positioning patients appropriately and minimizing radiation exposure to both the patient and medical staff.
- Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Regularly inspect and maintain IR equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions during procedures, and keep accurate records of equipment use and maintenance.
- Collaboration with Medical Team: Work closely with interventional radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure successful procedural outcomes and high-quality patient care.

Requirements and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
