We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Endeavors in Austin, TX. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing facilities
  • Operate motorized equipment used for cleaning
  • Perform laundry services to ensure sanitation and cleanliness of shelter operations
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and inspections
  • Provide exceptional customer service to staff, clients, and visitors
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful as a Housekeeper, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 months to 1 year of experience in custodial or housekeeping
  • Driver's License with a clear record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
