Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct project teams to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Maintain ongoing training and mentoring of project team members.
  • Provide project information and reviews to senior management as required.
  • Coordinate training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed.
  • Ensure scope of work, schedule, and budget are clearly defined and understood by senior management and project participants.
  • Determine controls and maintain overall project and discipline schedules and budgets.
  • Track schedule and budget progress with project milestones and take action to keep the project on track.
  • Identify and secure necessary approvals for changes in project scope, budget, and/or schedule.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure their needs are met within contractual obligations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field/equivalent experience.
  • Heavy Civil Construction background with 5+ years of field experience.
  • Experience managing multiple Project Engineers.
  • 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA certificates are preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to function as a team builder/player.
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
