Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for providing holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems. This will involve education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19 and influenza vaccines
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
  • Assess patients during intake and take vital signs
  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as EKG and retinopathy screening
  • Order equipment and prepare the clinic for patient care
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing
  • 1 year of related work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation
