Position: ServiceNow SACM Analyst

Location: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of SACM Configuration processes.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of CMDB data, including research, troubleshooting, and data enrichment.
  • Ensure SACM Configuration Management aligns with established policies and procedures.
  • Lead root cause analysis initiatives to enhance data accuracy.
  • Manage relationships with data owners and consumers related to SACM Configuration.
  • Identify and resolve process or data issues, ensuring completeness of Configuration Items (CIs).
  • Enhance ITSM CSDM (Common Services Data Model) practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve integration interfaces with applications utilizing CMDB data.
  • Support training and adherence to SACM processes among data owners and consumers.
  • Drive reporting governance on CMDB statistics and trends.
  • Schedule and lead CMDB data audits and governance processes.
  • Promote best practices for data governance to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in onboarding new Applications or Business Services into the CMDB.
  • Maintain the overall health of the Data Certification program.
  • Oversee SACM Configuration Service Catalog items and their associated processes.
  • Collaborate with other Service Catalog item owners to ensure governance of Configuration Management processes.
  • Enhance a custom consumer-facing CMDB application through process engineering and design recommendations.
  • Define and maintain test cases to support platform health and upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or business-related field or 3+ years of SACM experience.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow, particularly CMDB, AMDB, and Discovery.
  • Familiarity with ITIL IT Service Management processes.
  • 3+ years in a process-driven organization, ideally within an ITIL-aligned environment.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of the ServiceNow Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE).
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing large data repositories.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL V4 certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Multi-Source CMDB.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Solutions.
  • Understanding of the Common Service Data Model.
  • Familiarity with application architecture and service delivery modeling.
