About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Coordinator at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital, collaborating with the medical staff and other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
  • Assess and evaluate the organization of supplies, equipment, and unit needs, initiating changes as deemed necessary, working with departmental staff and nursing leadership.
  • Contribute to policy development and updates, ensuring that all policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in environmental rounding, ensuring that equipment and the department are clean and in good repair, submitting monthly reports to nursing leadership.
  • Monitor quality improvement projects and indicators for the department, collecting data and submitting monthly reports to Clinical Lead.
  • Assist with promoting staff development, assessing educational needs, and encouraging ideas from the team for implementation.
  • Provide orientation for new staff members as needed or assigned, supporting and maintaining a culture of safety and quality.
Requirements
  • Current state RN license
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire
  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred
