About the Role

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Arborist Ground Person to join our team. As an Arborist Ground Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our tree care crews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Arborist Climbers and Arborist Crew Leaders in performing various tasks, including pruning, rigging, cabling, and removal of hazardous trees.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, such as hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Implement work zone safety procedures and ensure compliance with all safety rules and company policies.
  • Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to develop skills and knowledge in arboriculture and related fields.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform manual labor.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
