Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our hospital's clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based treatments to patients with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing and medicine.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members, including nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and guidelines to provide the highest level of care to patients.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics).
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
