This role involves traveling to various educational institutions to provide both direct instruction and consultative support to ensure that students receive an appropriate educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, executing, and assessing individualized educational plans for each student based on their unique needs.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support students with visual impairments.
- Providing insights and explanations regarding visual conditions and their educational impacts to instructional staff.
- Conducting evaluations to assess functional vision and learning media for students.
- Delivering specialized instruction using various educational media, including braille and auditory materials, as specified in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
- Ensuring the availability of necessary instructional materials, such as braille and assistive technology.
- Assisting in the procurement of classroom resources and modifications to facilitate learning for visually impaired students.
- Collecting and analyzing data to track student progress and educational outcomes.

Qualifications:
