We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Functional Safety Systems Engineer to join our team at PER International. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing functional safety architectures for our clients' products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement functional safety architectures for vehicle level control functions, including engine, power train, passive safety, cybersecurity, ADAS, autonomy, infotainment, lighting, suspension, braking, and steering control systems.
- Collaborate with IP teams to communicate and coordinate safety designs.
- Provide workload estimation and skills needed to accomplish milestones.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO PAS 21448 SOTIF, UL 4600, IEC 61511, EN 5012x, ISO 10218, IEC 62061, and IEC 60601.
- Significant experience in functional safety analysis, ASIL decomposition, and ASIL allocation.
- Technical project management experience, including functional safety management.
- Experience with product certification, product assessments, and audits in various industries, including automotive, healthcare, aviation, railway, process industries, and robotics.
