Party Coordinator

Join the River Trails Park District team as a Birthday Party Supervisor As a key member of our recreation programs team, you will be responsible for ensuring a fun and memorable experience for children and their families.

The Birthday Party Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing birthday parties at our park district facilities. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work well with children and adults.

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the park district's policies and operations
• Set up and prepare party areas, including decorations, games, and activities
• Lead parties, ensuring a fun and safe experience for all participants
• Clean up after parties, including disposing of trash and restocking supplies
• Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work well with children and adults, creative and flexible
• Possession of a valid driver's license (recommended)
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED (recommended)

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
