About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Round Rock, Texas.

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures on ambulatory patients in a physician office or clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to explain procedures to patients, and provide high-quality care while obtaining diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures on ambulatory patients
  • Position patients, adjust immobilization devices, and move equipment as needed
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques
  • Document patient information, including pregnancy status and shielding precautions
  • Ensure operation of radiology equipment by performing quality checks and troubleshooting as needed
  • Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT-R certification in radiography
  • Less than 1 year of experience in radiologic technology
