We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Surgeon to join our team at Sacred Heart University. As a Vascular Surgeon, you will be responsible for evaluating patient histories, scheduling consultations, and performing surgeries to repair veins and arteries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient histories and schedule consultations to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Liaise with other physicians and perform relevant tests to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Treat conditions related to the veins, arteries, and other blood vessels.
  • Perform surgeries to repair veins and arteries and to treat other vascular trauma.
  • Consult with physicians and refer patients to other specialists as needed.
  • Determine all risks associated with the surgery and clearly outline them for the patient.
  • Address all patient concerns and answer their questions as accurately as possible.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in vascular surgery and the broader medical field.
  • Schedule follow-ups to monitor patients' well-being and advise them on suitable aftercare measures and medication.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active medical license.
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
