Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Cashier to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a Seasonal Cashier, you will play a critical role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences for customers
  • Execute cash handling to standards and maintain store recovery standards
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards and complete enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • Participate in truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget
  • Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance to include the merchandise return / go back process
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Assist with Omni channel processes
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate product and provide solutions
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
Requirements
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
