Job Title: Patient Navigator - Imaging and Hereditary Cancer Testing

At HALO Precision Diagnostics, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of precision medicine. We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Navigator to join our team in Sunrise, FL.

Job Summary:

The Patient Navigator will play a critical role in collaborating with our clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience in an outpatient setting. This full-time opportunity has a Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Provide genetics education to high-risk patients.
• Register and schedule follow-up appointments for genetic testing.
• Collect specimens for genetic testing.
• Liaise between patients, radiologists, pathologists, and referring physicians.
• Verify insurance and obtain authorization.
• Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians.

Qualifications:

1 year of certified medical assistant experience in imaging is highly preferred. Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their technical skills through a comprehensive assessment as part of the selection process.
