Mechanical Engineer Department Head

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to lead the Mechanical Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering, and design, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate system concepts and options to determine the best design and engineering solution for each project.
• Develop design drawings and specifications for building mechanical systems.
• Perform systems analysis and prepare reports and studies, as well as cost estimates.
• Lead and coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and administration staff.
• Interface with clients to discuss changes to designs and/or specifications.

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineering License in NJ & PA (if not already obtained, the ability to obtain the one missing).
• Project management experience, including interfacing with clients, coworkers, and code officials.
• Proven track record of success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Hands-on experience with engineering, design, building, and mechanical code requirements, with emphasis on multifamily facilities, including affordable housing, student housing, and market-rate housing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• LEED accreditation.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD or AutoCAD environment.
