We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, supplies, and lab areas to ensure optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab areas to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report any potential problems or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Lock/tag out equipment as necessary.
  • Recognize and react to recording errors and artifacts.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and cleaning/shaving/testing sites as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Certified Cardiographic Tech (CCT) credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
