Job Overview: Y-12 National Security Complex seeks a skilled Software Developer to provide technical leadership in developing high-quality software solutions.

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with expertise in designing, developing, and modifying enterprise-wide systems and other software applications. Primary duties include working closely with functional and business team members, project management, enterprise architects, system engineers, and application developers to design and develop enterprise applications based on approved architecture and business requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and other software applications using languages and infrastructures such as C#, ASP.Net, MVC, HTML 5, Entity Framework, Visual Studio, and Oracle PL/SQL.
  • AI/ML Implementation: Implement or integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) technologies into existing solutions.
  • Code Optimization: Optimize code to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • System Architecture: Develop and maintain system architecture to ensure scalability and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline plus three or more years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in one of the above disciplines or related specialty areas.
  • Programming Languages and Frameworks: Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as C#, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, React, TypeScript, Blazor, ASP.Net, ASPX.Net, MVC, Entity Framework, WebAPI, Telerik.
  • Database Management Systems: Experience with Oracle or other relational database management systems, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and ability to implement or integrate them into existing solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and demonstrated success in a team environment.
