Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ochsner Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in interventional radiology to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized radiology services requiring on-call availability and scrub experience.
  • Develop strong working relationships with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely and efficient communication of results.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.

Schedule and On-Call Requirements

This role involves a rotating schedule, with on-call requirements and a response time of 30 minutes. A 5 days on/2 days off schedule pattern will be followed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in neuro interventional radiology.
  • Travel experience as a technologist.
  • Scrub experience required.
