Neurosurgeon

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced neurosurgeon to join our team at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing research and other creative activities, including initiating research, collaborating with faculty and other professionals, and providing scientific direction and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and conduct research in neurosurgery
• Collaborate with faculty and other professionals to provide scientific direction and guidance
• Lead and participate in the submission of applications to extramural agencies
• Provide scientific and technical assistance to the College, University, and community

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in neurosurgery or related disciplines
• Evidence of the appropriate training and/or equivalent experience in neurosurgery or related disciplines
• Must obtain Kentucky licensure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in research and academic settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
