The Diocese Of Jefferson City is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Custodian to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our parish and school buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and painting tasks to ensure the overall condition of our buildings.
- Janitorial Services: Provide cleaning services for all parish and school buildings, including offices, educational facilities, and other areas.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and maintain a schedule for routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal building performance.
- Grounds Maintenance: Perform lawn mowing, snow removal, and other grounds maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and attractive environment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of our equipment and systems.
- Supply Management: Submit purchase orders for necessary supplies and equipment to ensure timely delivery and minimize downtime.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with the Director of Facilities and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving.
Requirements:
- Independence and Safety: Ability to work independently and safely, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
