We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting raw milk from farm to processing plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Commercial Motor Vehicle: Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA Commercial Motor Vehicle, and safety policies.
  • Transport Raw Milk: Transport raw milk from farm or depot to plant, following the dispatch schedule and directions from driver supervisors.
  • Quality Control: Take quality control samples at farms, measure the milk loaded into trailers, and minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Maintain positive communications with producers, customers, and employees, representing DFA positively and professionally.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Possess a valid CDL with the appropriate endorsements.
  • Safe Driving Record: Maintain a safe driving record, adhering to DFA's safety policies and procedures.
  • Physical Demands: Perform strenuous work involving lifting, connecting hoses, disconnecting hoses, and ladder climbing.
