Healthcare Billing Representative

OverviewAs a dedicated member of our healthcare team, you will be the first point of contact for patients regarding their billing inquiries. Your role will involve taking inbound calls, explaining billing statements, and resolving claims issues while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from patients concerning their bills
- Answer billing-related questions and provide clear explanations of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Resolve claims issues efficiently and effectively
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries
Requirements:
Previous experience in medical customer service, ideally within a call center environment, is required. Experience in a medical front office setting is a plus but high-volume call experience is essential. Familiarity with medical billing processes is also necessary.
Strong critical thinking skills and a problem-solving mindset are essential for this role.
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $37,600 to $39,200 depending on experience, which translates to approximately $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.
