Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Home Health Nurse - RN PRN to join our team at Ability Care Services. As a home health nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, initiating start of care face-to-face visits, and performing evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' conditions and initiate start of care face-to-face visits
  • Perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review
  • Administer medication as prescribed by the patients' physician
  • Dress (or re-dress) wounds
  • Provide patient education
  • Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team regarding care plan progress
  • Provide supervision and competency checks for RNs, LPNs, and CNA/HHAs as needed
  • Make recommendations for devices/tools/medications that might improve patients' quality of life
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must possess at least an associate's degree in nursing from an industry-accredited institution
  • Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
  • Must successfully complete a Level II background check prior to offer and initiation of training
  • Must complete a competency check and all orientation prior to initiating patient care
  • Current FL State RN license is required
Work Environment:

We serve the following counties: Lake, Sumter, Citrus, and Hernando

Job Type:

Per diem, W2

Pay:

Per visit; Varies based on experience
