Regional Human Resources Manager

Job Summary

The Regional Human Resources Manager serves as the primary human resources contact for employees in one or more regional areas. This role collaborates with management to formulate and execute human resources strategies that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement human resources programs and policies, including staffing, benefits, employee relations, training, and safety initiatives.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to leadership on performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Work with field and corporate teams to unify human resources practices across the organization, promoting consistency and best practices.
  • Ensure regional locations are compliant with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in designing and implementing employee retention strategies, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
  • Coordinate quarterly visits to regional facilities, conducting employee meetings and feedback sessions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive human resources management or generalist experience.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to travel 50% or more of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
