The City Of Gardner seeks a highly skilled and experienced Community Development Deputy Director to serve as a principal point of contact with external and internal constituencies and public-private partners for economic and physical growth activities associated with community planning, economic development, and building services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to the Community Development Director and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Planning Division.
- Serve as a principal point of contact with external and internal constituencies and public-private partners.
- Support economic and physical growth activities associated with community planning, economic development, and building services.
- Master's degree in urban planning/design, public administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in planning/economic development, including three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- CEcD and/or AICP certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
