Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Producer to join our team in Naples, Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting the sale of new and renewal business, providing insurance expertise to clients, and assisting in the growth and profitability of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, develop, and gain new customers through effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Closely work with Account Managers/Executives and Marketing Coordinator to place new and renewal business.
  • Analyze and interpret client needs to offer tailored insurance solutions.
  • Complete Brown & Brown Sales Training, including working with seasoned producers, preparing proposals and applications, and learning the Private Client insurance markets.
  • Follow all systems, workflows, compliance procedures, and insurance company regulations.
  • Respond to client inquiries and maintain accurate documentation in client files.
  • Identify business needs and propose company products and services to prospects.
  • Maintain expertise in the insurance industry through ongoing professional development and networking.
  • Attend insurance company meetings for public relations purposes.

Requirements:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Florida Property & Casualty insurance license 2-20 required.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Tools, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • This role requires routine travel, which may involve driving a personal or rental vehicle. A satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record report and minimum acceptable insurance coverages are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in personal lines insurance, is preferred but not required.
