About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating water and wastewater projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, pumping systems, and collection systems
  • Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses
  • Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects
  • Perform engineering interpretation of specifications and drawings, recommend and document design modifications
  • Resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner
  • Provide construction support services, including field meetings, submittal review, shop drawing review, and RFIs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline (focus on water/wastewater preferred)
  • 0-2 years of experience with water and wastewater system design
  • Engineer in Training Certification with intent to obtain Professional Engineer Registration within 4 years (required), Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Colorado is desired
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
  • Active membership and participation in water and wastewater professional associations, such as RMWEA or RMSAWWA, a plus
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office software, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
