Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As an MRI Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and safely operating MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, providing technical support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures, including imaging results and any notable findings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in MRI preferred.
  • Current ARRT registration in MR (RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)) required within six months of hire.
