We are seeking a Senior Project Manager I - Physician Services to oversee and manage a variety of projects within our organization. Below are the details regarding this position.
Compensation: $55.86/hour
Work Environment: Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Contract Duration: 4 months
Role Summary:
The Senior Project Manager I will be accountable for the comprehensive management of several medium to large-scale projects characterized by moderate to high complexity. This role entails guiding projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring accountability throughout the process. The individual will leverage established Project Controls and Standards to meet project objectives effectively. A strong commitment to fostering stakeholder relationships is essential, with proactive communication and ownership of potential risks and issues being critical for successful outcomes. Some travel may be necessary depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structure project tasks into manageable segments for team members, determining the most effective strategies for completion as per the project plan.
- Draft and facilitate strategic documents including Project Charters, Communication plans, and detailed project outlines, while presenting updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain clear project scope and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
- Manage relationships with multiple business owners and team members to facilitate project execution.
- Proactively identify and address risks, issues, and dependencies across projects.
- Track and report on project progress, ensuring timely updates are communicated.
- Guide team members in clarifying task assignments, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure the production of high-quality, professional deliverables as specified in project plans.
- Assist in the development of toolkits to support implementation efforts.
Physical Requirements: The role requires prolonged periods of sitting, with some bending and stretching. Proficiency in eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity is necessary for operating office equipment. The position also necessitates normal hearing and vision capabilities for effective communication and report preparation. Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds may be required. The work environment is primarily office-based and may involve stressful situations, including interactions with upset individuals. Flexibility and availability for staffing assistance during emergencies are essential.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Experience in healthcare, hospital systems, supply chain, workforce management, financial services, or technical systems is advantageous.
Certifications:
- PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- LEAN and/or SIX SIGMA certifications are beneficial but not required.
