Job Summary

MasTec Civil is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a Crawler/Lattice Boom Crane up to 300 tons with NCCCO certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cranes safely and efficiently on heavy construction projects, including pile driving, beam erection, demolition, concrete construction, and steel erection.
  • Inspect machines and equipment daily, perform routine maintenance procedures, and initiate additional repair requests as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with ground operators and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly.
  • Participate in lifting load planning and execute approved Lift Plans accordingly.
  • Inspect and select rated rigging and crane appurtenances prior to lifting operations.
  • Perform daily safety and operational inspections of the crane and maintain administrative paperwork, including daily crane inspection reports.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or general education degree.
  • 5+ years' experience lifting and placing concrete, prefabricated bridge beams, precast bridge deck panels, rebar, concrete pipe, and metal forming components.
  • NCCCO or NCCER certification.
