About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and team-oriented HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team at Eastern Washington University. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing skilled journey-level Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration trades and control work within our campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled journey-level Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration trades and control work within our campus.
  • Work in various spaces and conditions, including confined spaces, high work, crawlspaces, hot, cold, wet, and dry.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor and other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Journey-level standing as HVAC/Refrigeration mechanic (or equivalent years of experience).
