Cardiac Specialist Opportunity

Danbury Hospital, a not-for-profit community hospital, is seeking a per diem Cardiac Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join its Arrhythmia Service. The ideal candidate will provide direct care to patients with cardiac rhythm disorders and related conditions in collaboration with physicians and team members.
About Danbury Hospital
Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. It offers 24-hour interventional cardiology services and is affiliated with several medical schools, including the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
Responsibilities
The APRN will provide evaluation and care to patients with implanted cardiac rhythm devices and work in outpatient and inpatient settings. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule with mostly outpatient coverage, with no evenings, weekends, or call.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with prior cardiac care experience preferred. A working knowledge of implantable cardiac devices and EP procedures is necessary. New graduates are welcome to apply.
