Position Overview: LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a skilled Automation Testing Specialist with expertise in depth sensors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initialize and configure hardware, firmware, and software solutions provided by vendors.
- Create graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and testing programs to integrate boards, sensors, and external instruments for automation control.
- Design GUI applications for the analysis of test data and the generation of comprehensive test reports.
- Collaborate with various core technology teams and other departments to establish testing procedures and specifications for new prototype devices and systems.
- Gather and evaluate data according to established testing plans.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency with debugging tools such as PyCharm, GitHub, and Qt Designer.
- Experience in controlling image and depth sensors, familiar with communication protocols like SPI, I2C, and MIPI.
Technical Expertise:
- Advanced knowledge of Python, particularly with PyQT GUI, and DLL applications for lab instrument control and test automation.
- Extensive experience in managing various laboratory equipment using communication protocols such as RS232, USB, Ethernet, and Modbus.
- Proficient in MATLAB for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Strong communication and reporting capabilities.
- Basic understanding of direct Time-of-Flight (dToF) sensors, single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs), and the operational performance trade-offs of depth sensors.
- Foundational knowledge of image sensor characterization.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
