Position Summary:Insight Comprehensive Therapy is seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to enhance our dynamic team. We have immediate openings available.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual capable of working independently in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of patients' conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Develop, modify, and assess individualized care plans that address identified issues and involve patients and their families.
- Implement therapeutic interventions using established physical therapy techniques tailored to each patient's condition.
- Evaluate and assess patients to determine their mobility levels and functional capabilities.
- Recommend and provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and ambulation support.
- Perform initial assessments and periodic re-evaluations of all patients' physical conditions and functional statuses.
- Ensure assessments are completed prior to scheduled team meetings and communicate any changes in patient conditions to the team.
- Develop and document treatment plans, set goals, and provide ongoing treatment.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress notes in patients' charts.
- Assess the need for adaptive and durable medical equipment and make recommendations to the interdisciplinary team.
- Actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team, attending staff meetings and contributing to patient care planning.
- Engage in quality improvement processes to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:- Eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Must hold a valid license in the State of Michigan or be eligible for licensure as per state guidelines.
- A Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
- Current Basic Life Support certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire.
- Preferred experience in a residential care setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for effective patient care and documentation.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to various responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and high-pressure setting while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Willingness to engage in goal-setting and professional development activities.
