Position Summary:

Insight Comprehensive Therapy is seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to enhance our dynamic team. We have immediate openings available.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual capable of working independently in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of patients' conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  2. Develop, modify, and assess individualized care plans that address identified issues and involve patients and their families.
  3. Implement therapeutic interventions using established physical therapy techniques tailored to each patient's condition.
  4. Evaluate and assess patients to determine their mobility levels and functional capabilities.
  5. Recommend and provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and ambulation support.
  6. Perform initial assessments and periodic re-evaluations of all patients' physical conditions and functional statuses.
  7. Ensure assessments are completed prior to scheduled team meetings and communicate any changes in patient conditions to the team.
  8. Develop and document treatment plans, set goals, and provide ongoing treatment.
  9. Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress notes in patients' charts.
  10. Assess the need for adaptive and durable medical equipment and make recommendations to the interdisciplinary team.
  11. Actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team, attending staff meetings and contributing to patient care planning.
  12. Engage in quality improvement processes to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Must hold a valid license in the State of Michigan or be eligible for licensure as per state guidelines.
  • A Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire.
  • Preferred experience in a residential care setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for effective patient care and documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to various responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and high-pressure setting while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Willingness to engage in goal-setting and professional development activities.
  • Compassionate approach to patient care and teamwork.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
  • Reliability in attendance and work performance.
