- Communication and Teamwork: Foster effective communication with healthcare team members, promoting collaboration and teamwork to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document patient care, treatments, and referrals, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Education and Patient Experience: Provide patient education, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
- Stewardship and Resource Management: Utilize equipment and supplies efficiently, minimizing waste and promoting a culture of sustainability.
- Education: Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing, with an Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
- Licensure and Certification: Current Florida RN licensure, AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card, and ACLS certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year emergency department experience in an acute care facility.
- Language: Ability to speak and understand written and verbal instructions in the English language.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate patients/equipment, with visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform clinical tasks.
- Mental Demands: Ability to work in a stressful environment, concentrate on multiple priority activities, and respond appropriately to life-threatening situations.
As a member of our Emergency Department team, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and critical thinking skills to navigate complex patient situations.
