Bakery and Packaging Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Bakery and Packaging Associate to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for preparing fresh baked items daily, following recipes and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes/make-up instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.
  • Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team and communicate effectively with team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting members quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new situations.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated hourly wage for this role is between $16.00 and $23.00. We also offer performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
