Registered Nurse II- Labor and Delivery/FT/Days

At East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse II to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to achieve desired outcomes.
- Participate in patient and family teaching, ensuring they understand their care and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice and performance.
- Actively contribute to department operations and communications, upholding the mission, vision, and values of East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital.
Requirements:
- Two (2) years' experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in Labor and Delivery.
- Adaptable to changing work schedules and patient needs.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- A capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, and collaborate with the team.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Current RN license issued and/or recognized by the state Board of Nursing for the State of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA), required.
Additional Requirements:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association (AHA), required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), required.
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN).
- C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring), preferred.
