Meat Wrapper Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Meat Wrapper to join our team at Smith's Food and Drug. As a Meat Wrapper, you will be responsible for preparing and displaying meat items for sale, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and display meat items in a neat and efficient manner
- Check product quality and ensure it is always fresh and safe
- Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and well-organized
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve department goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a retail meat department or similar environment preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
