Job Overview
The Implementation Analyst is responsible for examining customer data across various formats and transforming it into actionable insights for Medline Industries. This role involves overseeing and supporting distribution implementation projects through project management tools and maintaining item master files in Excel. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support different internal departments while managing project timelines effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis and oversee assigned distribution implementation projects. Provide insights on usage and pricing. Utilize purchase order history to predict demand and communicate findings to customers.
- Work closely with branches to assess customer inventory and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure timely completion of all aspects of the implementation timeline. Address any issues that arise during implementations and develop strategies to move forward, following through on action plans.
- Identify and analyze trends or anomalies in implementation performance. Determine root causes and communicate findings to leadership.
- Convert customer item files into a format suitable for corporate sales and maintain regular updates of the master file and implementation project tracker.
- Effectively communicate with customers, sales teams, and internal departments regarding ongoing issues, potential challenges, project progress, and overall completion rates. Conduct conference calls to educate customers on processes, timelines, and necessary actions for project completion.
- Serve as a resource for sales staff and customers during major account implementations. Assist with live presentations for customers during the implementation process, either remotely or on-site. Manage and support customer command centers during the go-live week.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in vendor, inventory, or sales analysis.
- Familiarity with account implementations, including logistical setups and supply chain operations.
- Experience in analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions.
- Proficient in conducting presentations via phone, webinars, or in-person meetings regarding project processes.
- Experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve project goals.
- Ability to manage and analyze large datasets, including extensive Excel documents.
- Proficient in SAP, Excel, and project management tools like Wrike.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in training new and existing staff using established templates and materials.
- Comprehensive knowledge of implementation processes across various market segments.
