We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Imaging Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Urgent Care by Well. As an X-Ray Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and service to our patients.

Job Summary

The X-Ray Imaging Specialist is responsible for preparing patients for X-Ray exams, performing diagnostic imaging procedures, and operating radiology equipment. You will also be responsible for reviewing patient history, sharing observations with providers, and using critical thinking principles to make decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Preparation: Identifies and prepares patients for X-Ray exams.
  • Imaging Procedures: Performs diagnostic and/or therapeutic quality imaging procedures for patient care population.
  • Radiology Equipment: Operates modality specific and technical equipment related to patient care imaging, image processing, image transmission, image archiving, and computerized electronic medical records.
Requirements
  • Education: Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved educational program.
  • Certifications: Must have American Registry of Radiologic Technologists credentials in Radiography (R). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
