As a Security Officer- Level 3 at Ojos Locos, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patrons and staff. This includes conducting ID checks, screening patrons for prohibited items, and monitoring the premises to prevent any incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • ID Checks: Verify the identity of patrons and ensure they are authorized to enter the facility.
  • Patron Screening: Conduct thorough searches of patrons to detect any prohibited items, such as weapons or illegal substances.
  • Incident Reporting: Document and report any incidents that occur on the premises, including details of what happened, who was involved, and any actions taken.
  • Force Reporting: Immediately report any use of force to the Director of Security and submit a written report by the end of the shift.
  • Premises Monitoring: Conduct regular walk-throughs of the facility to ensure the safety and security of patrons and staff.
  • Parking Lot Monitoring: Monitor the parking lot from the main door or immediate area of the facility to prevent any incidents.
  • Smoking Area Monitoring: Ensure that patrons are not smoking in areas that are not designated for smoking.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, previous experience in the field of security, CPR/First Aid certification, and continuing education/training in the field of security completed annually.
Work Schedule

The expected work hours are as scheduled, typically between the hours of 5 pm until 3 am Thursday through Saturday and 5 pm until 1 am Sunday through Wednesday. You are responsible for clocking in and out during each shift. Failure to do so may be grounds for discipline, up to and including termination.
