  • Direct internal audit initiatives - assess risks, conduct audit planning and scoping, execute and document business processes, including walkthroughs, and present findings with actionable recommendations for process enhancement and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze and interpret data, recognizing patterns and trends, and communicate results effectively to management and key stakeholders.
  • Embrace an innovative approach and a desire for continuous learning to enhance audit quality.
  • Lead, manage, and nurture junior auditors, providing on-the-job training and mentorship.
  • Engage in professional communication, both verbal and written, with management, team members, and auditees, including leaders at various organizational levels.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the audit function through learning opportunities, obtaining CPE hours, and participating in departmental initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Public Accounting, Internal Audit, Accounting, or Finance, or 2 years of experience in Public Accounting with a Master’s degree and a CPA or equivalent certification.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 15-30% of the time.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and financial management systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of CPA or CIA certifications.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Experience in developing data analytics or automation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with data science, analytics, and visualization tools (such as Alteryx and PowerBI).
