About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Event Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional experiences for clients at an upscale venue.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of private events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.
  • Collaborate with sales, culinary, and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and staff to foster repeat business and exceptional experiences.
  • Ensure financial goals are met by managing event budgets, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee logistics, including staffing, timelines, and equipment needs, ensuring attention to detail for all events.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years in a director-level role managing high-volume private events with annual revenues of at least $6MM.
  • 6 years of progressive experience in banquet operations in an upscale event setting, including management roles.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
