Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the clamp truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the clamp truck to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Load and unload rolls of paper from trailers and rail cars, checking for damage and recording any issues.
  • Mark and record roll stock tallies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist the corrugator operator as needed, providing support and guidance to ensure smooth operation of the corrugator.
  • Make starch as needed, following company formula and quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the waste water treatment facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Read and follow instructions on factory masters, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in the corrugated industry and/or industrial power truck or heavy equipment operation preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, as well as apply common sense and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on safety and quality. The employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, and occasional high, precarious places. The noise level is usually loud.

Performance Measurements:

The performance of the employee will be measured based on operating standards, personal growth, employee relations, and creativity. The employee will be evaluated on their ability to meet or exceed quality, cost, safety, customer satisfaction, and productivity standards.
