Laser Screed Operator

We are seeking a skilled Laser Screed Operator to join our team at Lorne G. Seifert, LLC. This individual should have a minimum of two years of relevant operating experience and be proficient in concrete construction.

• Safely operate and maintain laser screed and high-performance lasers
• Set and check grade elevations
• Screed concrete within specifications and perform above standard
• Follow construction diagrams
• Perform pre-operations safety inspections
• Effectively communicate with site foreman to complete daily tasks in order to meet project goals
• Travel from job site to job site when/as needed
• Work closely with other crew members in a fast-paced environment

• 1-2 years of relevant operating experience
• Experience and knowledge of concrete construction
• Experience with 3D and total station setup is preferred
• Ability to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines
• Experience with hand tools associated with the trade
• Proficient in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
